Can I have students moved around to get out early?

Don’t ask the Director to reschedule a student temporarily because you have cancellations. We realize you would rather be somewhere else but remember that you are getting paid for those last minute cancellations.  Students who are often rescheduled by the school are the first ones to quit.  Even if they tell you (the Teacher) that it is no problem.  They are just being nice 99% of the time.  Also, they will often show up at the wrong time the following week (possibly resulting in a double booking) or not show at all and want a credit/refund because you rescheduled them last week.  The list of potential problems goes on and on. To make matters worse, you are likely to have a lot of “holes” in your schedule at the exact time of year that students are likely to drop out of lessons.  If we ask them to reschedule it often gives them the excuse they were looking for to quit.  We have seen this time and time again.  It is REAL! If keeping your students is important to you then the best thing you can do is keep them on a regular schedule
