Why should you get your students involved in our student concerts?
Student Concerts - Teacher Participation
Updated: 2-20-15
Unless otherwise communicated (and we have money in the budget to do so) all students concert attendance is voluntary and not paid. We do not charge parents and students to attend the recitals and the expenses can run high to hold them; from paying the photographer, room rental, piano rental, refreshments etc. As a PSoM teacher It is a VERY good idea to get your students involved as it increases student interest and retention. Teachers who get their students involved in concerts tend to have schedules that stay more full than teachers that don't simply because the students love to be involved. For some it is the thrill of a lifetime!
Generally we will group your students together so you only need to be there for an hour of two to support all of your students.
